These files are for the 6 Ison sound sets, for example see the paragraph below (**), and they contain the tones di, ke, zo, ... Di, Ke (all diatonic according to the Committee 1881 scale: 12-10-8-12-12-10-8), while Ke is at (not necessarily) 200Hz.

To set the frequency of Ke for the correct display of the tones' frequencies, and to name e.g. Ison set#2 (Ison2), create a file named a4_freq_ison2.txt, save it in UTF-8 encoding, and in its content put e.g.

440
Ison Daniel

where the first line of the file, i.e. 440, is for the Ke frequency, and the second line of the file, i.e. Ison Daniel, is for the Ison set#2 name (see also the picture!). For your convenience, you can download this file! The file is used by the application only for the correct display of the tones' frequencies and the naming of Ison sets. If you don't create this file, then the Ke frequency is assumed to be 220Hz, and the Ison set name would be "Ison 2".

- Go to Isokratis PA -> Sounds, and now the sound choices  Ison 1, Ison 2, ... and Ison 6 should be active (if you loaded only the files for Ison set 1, e.g. *ison1.mp3, then only the Ison set 1 would active.

- Choose e.g. Ison 1, Ison 2, ... and you are ready !

If you face any issue, please contact us from the app!

If you want to check the Isokratis accuracy, you can put the tones of this zip file (beware of your ear because they are pure tones) and check with the PitchLab Guitar Tuner app the accuracy.
